‘Haute Couture’ is showing in Paris at the moment.

This is the week of dreams where clothes (not just those for special occasions) become real pieces of art.

The atmosphere is surreal, the set up is extraordinary.

Dior makes the catwalk a dreamlike space made up of cages and objects which are floating, art and fashion have a lot in common. The masks conceal the faces, creating a mysterious vibe. The image is quite rigid, but very sensual too. Maria Grazia Chiuri highlights the powerful interiority of all modern women.

Armani Privé presents an ethereal and feminine type of woman with that dreamy atmosphere to it. Hand painted silk, representing clouds and lights and a gently brushed sky. The shapes are in contrast, dry and modern, sometimes a little masculine. The 'aggressive' spirit represents the duality of the woman: the firm and practical attitude always hides a caring and dreaming soul.

In Chanel garden the atmosphere is rather delicate and a little nostalgic. The palette is ethereal with delicate colors. The woman is presented dressed up in flowers and bows, very traditional, but still very chic.

Giambattista Valli shows us clothes that seems inspired by classical culture, to Greek and Roman women. Tunics embroidered with feathers and sequins. Short dresses full of petals that show a great technical ability as well as an incredible sensitivity to style.

Valentino is making us dream. His outfits are made for the most chic parties. The unique shades are directly inspired by the characteristic colors and the risky (but perfect) combinations of Yves Saint Laurent of the 80s and 90s. Feather hats, bold and strong tones are perfectly matched to the garments and create combinations with them that makes them like perfect and real paintings. Skilled artisans hand sew and embroidered extraordinary pieces, for women with that intimate feel, secure and elegant soul.
