The idea of beauty can be approached also on another dimension- the medium of vision, which according to the Greek, is one of the most elevated senses.

The peculiarity of beauty is the fact that it is visible, is a vision of something good. Good in itself is not visible but, becomes visible through action, a way of doing and in a good taste. So, it is possible to talk about beautiful actions, about a beautiful way of doing, and about a beautiful taste.

The essence of beauty is its brightness and somehow, the external beauty discloses an inner way of being.

Parmenides and Plato use the verb «aletheia» to indicate «truth». Aletheia is the “un-veiled”. So, true beauty discloses, reveals.

A good taste in dressing is a sort of language; it’s the revealing of an interior sense, of what a person is.

According to Greek philosophers, like the way beauty of nature reveals the beauty of God, the external beauty reveals an interior beauty and expression.
